Email is often looked upon as the red-headed stepchild of marketing communications. Creative strategy is generally an afterthought with many organizations simply re-purposing a print or direct mail piece—but that's not the way it should be.

Instead, email should be given the respect it deserves. It's extremely cost-effective compared to other forms of advertising, provides trackable results, and (almost instantly) establishes a history of metrics.
